For publishers and creators

We want original reporting to be read.

The Points Daily is an independent three-minute weekday briefing for people who follow points, miles, credit cards, loyalty programs, and travel deals. We select a small number of useful stories, summarize the facts in our own words, and add a clear TPD take on why each story matters.

How we use and credit reporting

We do not republish articles. We write original summaries and commentary, identify the publication, and link readers directly to the source after the TPD take. Our goal is to help an interested reader understand why the reporting matters—and then send that reader to the people who did the original work.

Send us a story

Flag original reporting, significant loyalty-program changes, unusual deals, useful data points, or time-sensitive posts. Include the article URL and the key reason our audience should care. Submission does not guarantee inclusion; timeliness, usefulness, and fit determine the daily lineup.

Attribution preferences

Tell us the publication name you prefer, whether an author should also be named, and which article, newsletter, or appropriate referral URL should receive the link. We will correct attribution when we get it wrong; we will not replace an original-reporting link with an unrelated promotional page.

Traffic and referral information

Our website source links are tagged and measured, and our newsletter provider reports link activity. When the data is available and sufficiently reliable, we can share outbound-click information for your publication or article. We do not promise a particular volume of traffic, and we do not inflate the story with vanity numbers.

Collaboration opportunities

Useful collaborations can include publisher spotlights, interviews, expert quotations, newsletter recommendations, and appropriate cross-promotion. The best fit teaches the audience something or introduces them to reporting worth following.

Corrections and concerns

If we misstated a fact, linked or credited something incorrectly, or covered your work in a way you want to discuss, contact us with the episode or page URL and the requested correction. We will review it directly and respond as promptly as practical.

Editorial independence

Publishers may suggest stories and provide context. The Points Daily independently decides what to include, how prominently to cover it, and what assessment to give it. Referral relationships, collaboration, and access do not guarantee coverage or a favorable take.
