Urgent: 3 days left to convert Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt before devaluation

Chase is ending the 1:1 transfer rate from Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt on September 30. Starting October 1, the ratio drops to 4:3—you'll need 1,334 Chase points to get 1,000 Hyatt points. The 1:1 rate survives only for Sapphire Reserve holders and a few other ultra-premium Chase cardholders. If you have transferable Ultimate Rewards and Hyatt bookings planned, this is your last day to move them at the better rate. After tomorrow, Hyatt becomes one of the worst transfer partners in the Chase ecosystem.

Air Canada selling Aeroplan points at up to 30% discount through October 13

Air Canada has a limited-time promotion selling Aeroplan points at 1.85 cents each if you buy at least 110,000 points—a 30% discount off face value. The deal is targeted, so your actual discount may vary; log in to see what you qualify for. You can buy up to 250,000 points per transaction and 1 million per year. The math only works if you have a redemption worth more than 2 cents per point, so don't buy just to buy.

Bank of America cuts deposit requirement for up to $2,500 business checking bonus

Bank of America lowered the deposit threshold for its top business checking bonus from $250,000 to $200,000, making it slightly more accessible. The full bonus ladder ranges from $400 (for $5,000 deposited) up to $2,500 (at $200,000). New money must be deposited within 30 days of account opening and held through day 90 to qualify. The offer runs through December 31, 2026. You're blocked if you've held a Bank of America business account in the last 12 months.

U.S. Bank Cash+ card holders: pick your Q4 bonus categories now

U.S. Bank Cash+ cardholders can now select their 5% cash-back categories for October through December 2026. You pick two categories earning 5% back on up to $2,000 in combined quarterly purchases, plus one category for unlimited 2%. Your selections take 3 business days to activate, so enroll by end of week if you want coverage for the full quarter.

Chase adds lifetime bonus language to Southwest business cards

Chase replaced the 24-month bonus restriction on both Southwest business cards with new language suggesting a potential lifetime eligibility block. The new terms state the bonus "may not be available" if you've held that specific card before, though Chase stops short of calling it an outright lifetime ban. Each card carries its own restriction—so a past Premier Business holder could theoretically still qualify for the Performance Business card. This makes cycling the Southwest Companion Pass year after year much harder.

The Citi Strata Premier is offering an extra 15,000 Bilt Points ($150 value) or $150 cash back on top of its standard 60,000 ThankYou point welcome bonus—but only through Rakuten's portal and only for members earning cash back or Bilt Points (not Membership Rewards). You'll need to keep the card open for 3 months to keep the bonus. If you were planning to apply anyway, clicking through Rakuten first adds $150 with no extra effort.
