Delta Award Sale: Australia From 50K Miles Round-Trip

Delta is running an unposted award sale on basic economy to Melbourne at 50,000 SkyMiles round-trip. Co-branded cardholders get an additional 15% discount, bringing the total to 42,400 miles. The sale won't show on Delta's official award deals page, so you'll need to manually search flexible dates. Availability is live from airports nationwide, including smaller regional hubs.

This is a legitimate floor price for a long-haul award, and the cardholder discount makes it even better. The catch is finding the inventory—Delta's search tool isn't highlighting this, so patience and multiple date searches are required.

Business Class to São Paulo for 50K Alaska Miles One-Way

American Airlines has wide-open business class award inventory to São Paulo from August 2026 through July 2027 at 50,000 Alaska Mileage Plan points one-way. You're looking at lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration on the 787-9, with taxes around $18. Transferable points from Bilt (1:1) and Marriott (3:1) work here.

This is saver-level pricing on a long-haul business class route with rare availability depth. If Brazil is on your list, this inventory won't last—these kinds of award windows close fast.

Air Canada: New York to Osaka, Japan. $882 Round-Trip

Air Canada has New York to Osaka round-trip fares at $882 all-in, with a checked bag included on full-service carrier flights. Book at least 7 days out; travel valid through late September. Google Flights is pricing it $20 below the GDS baseline.

This is good pricing for full-service transatlantic travel to Japan. Availability is limited and these fares typically don't hold for more than a couple of days.

American Airlines Hikes Admirals Club Membership Prices, Adds New Solo Option

American Airlines is raising Admirals Club membership pricing starting August 23. Annual membership goes to $1,400 (up from $850), nearly doubling the cost. The airline is adding a solo-only tier for $750 that excludes guest privileges and partner lounge access.

The Citi AAdvantage Executive card annual fee rises from $595 to $695 on the same date, but it still includes full Admirals Club membership with guest access. At the new standalone pricing, the card becomes the better value proposition for frequent club users.
