Apple Card $300 Signup Bonus (Targeted)
Apple Card is circulating a new round of targeted $300 signup bonuses, the highest the card has ever offered. You'll need to sign up by August 31 and spend $1,500 within 60 days to qualify. The card carries no annual fee, though it does count toward your Chase 5/24 limit.
TPD take: Worth grabbing if you received the targeted email and have $1,500 in genuine spend lined up this fall. Otherwise, pass.

Cathay Pacific 10% Transfer Bonus Through August 28
Cathay Pacific is offering a 10% bonus on transfers from bank or hotel points programs to Asia Miles—the first broad transfer bonus from the carrier in over two years. The bonus caps at 10,000 miles total (meaning you max out after transferring 100,000 bank points or 300,000 Marriott Bonvoy points). Registration is required, and the bonus takes up to 12 weeks to post after your base miles arrive.
TPD take: Only move points if you already have a specific redemption locked in and can stomach a three-month delay. The 10% bump is better than nothing, but the timing lag makes this a plan-ahead move, not an impulse transfer.

Park Hyatt Paris Summer 2027 Award Availability
The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme has released chunks of World of Hyatt award availability for summer 2027, with consecutive nights open in late July and early August. Most nights run 45,000 points; weekends cost more. Cash rates at this property typically run $1,300–$2,000 per night, making 45,000 points strong value for a Category 8 property.
TPD take: If you're planning Paris next summer and have the points, book now. Award availability at luxury Paris properties moves fast.

Alaska Air: Baltimore–San Diego Roundtrips
Alaska is offering roundtrip fares between Baltimore and San Diego at $136 (Basic Economy) or $236 (regular economy), taxes included. Basic Economy comes with no seat selection, no changes, and last boarding; regular economy adds carry-on and advance seat assignment. Travel is limited to September through early November or early December, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays only. Book at least 14 days in advance.
TPD take: $136 is a solid floor price if your travel dates lock into those windows and you're willing to board last. The $100 upgrade to regular economy buys you seat choice and flexibility—worth the money for most travelers.
