Quick hits: DoorDash DashPass $40 Sephora discount, Seats.aero award pricing on Google Flights, Delta D.C.–New Delhi from $738, Marriott Bonvoy Starbucks bonus, U.S. Mint silver coin deal Thursday.
This is expanded show-notes for today's briefing. The daily newsletter lands in your inbox each weekday morning with the timely version.
DoorDash DashPass: $40 Off Sephora Today Only
What: DoorDash is offering DashPass members $40 off a $100+ Sephora purchase with code BEAUTY40, valid July 22 only.
Why it matters: This is part of DoorDash's Summer of DashPass promotion. Earlier Kroger offers sold out fast. If you already have DashPass and need Sephora products, the window is narrow.
TPD take: It's a straightforward discount if you qualify. Move quickly if interested.

Seats.aero Chrome Extension: Award Pricing on Google Flights
What: Seats.aero launched a Chrome extension that displays award prices from multiple frequent-flyer programs directly alongside cash fares on Google Flights results. Shows Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Delta SkyMiles, and others with taxes, fees, seat count, and data freshness.
Why it matters: Removes the friction of checking award prices separately. Free tier shows cached availability up to 60 days out; Pro gets live pricing.
TPD take: Similar to Points Path but pulls from more programs. Both have free tiers. Install both and compare.

Delta: Washington D.C. – New Delhi Roundtrips From $738
What: Delta roundtrips from D.C. to New Delhi starting at $738 in Basic Economy or $888 in regular economy. Travel mid-September or mid-January 2027. Sunday stay required; 7 days advance purchase.
Why it matters: Competitive pricing to India. Basic Economy includes a middle seat and nothing else—no checked bag, no seat selection, no changes, no mileage earning. Regular economy adds a checked bag and seat assignment.
TPD take: $888 is the real floor. The extra $150 over Basic Economy is worth it for any trip longer than a weekend.

Marriott Bonvoy Week: Starbucks Bonus Through July 26
What: Link your Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks accounts. Make 3 qualifying purchases at participating Starbucks by July 26 to earn 100 Marriott Bonvoy points. Also earns double Starbucks Stars during eligible Marriott stays.
Why it matters: Low friction if you're already a Starbucks customer and Marriott member.
TPD take: 100 points is a rounding error. Skip the account linking. The double Stars are only useful if you're staying at Marriott properties regularly enough for that to matter.

U.S. Mint Silver Coin: $1,696 Spend, $100+ Profit — Thursday at Noon
What: U.S. Mint drops the 2026 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Enhanced Uncirculated Coin Thursday, July 22 at 12 PM Eastern. $169 per set, limit 10, plus $5.95 shipping. Total spend: $1,696 for all 10 sets.
Why it matters: Manufactured spend opportunity with built-in profit if you flip them. Typical profit: $100+ across all 10 coins.
TPD take: Lock in a resale price before checkout to avoid market risk. Only act if you're comfortable with the resale logistics and can move fast at noon.
