Rakuten: 12% Back on StubHub
What happened: Rakuten is running a 12% cash back offer on StubHub today only. Add Paze as your payment method for an extra $10 on top.
Why it matters: If you've got an unused Chase Sapphire Reserve entertainment credit ($150/year), this is a clean way to use it. You can also buy StubHub credit and pocket the difference plus card points, though the effort-to-reward ratio is thin if you weren't already shopping for tickets.
The TPD take: Act today if you need tickets. This won't stick around.

Audible: 3 Free Months + $20 Credit (Last Day)
What happened: Audible is ending a Prime member offer today: 3 months free plus $20 in credits. Non-Prime members can get the same deal for 99 cents per month for 3 months.
Why it matters: After the trial ends, subscription defaults to $8.99/month unless cancelled. This is real value if you want to test audiobooks or have a specific title in mind, but it requires discipline.
The TPD take: Set a calendar reminder to cancel before the trial lapses. If you're genuinely interested, lock this in today.

Amex Business Gold: Up to 200K Points Welcome Bonus
What happened: American Express is offering a variable welcome bonus on the Business Gold Card—up to 200,000 Membership Rewards points after $15,000 spend in 3 months.
Why it matters: The catch: offers are personalized. You won't see 200K unless you qualify. And if you've held the card before, Amex's once-per-lifetime rule disqualifies you entirely.
The TPD take: Check your actual offer before applying. A 200K bonus is strong if you can hit the spend and have uses for the points lined up. But not everyone gets there.

Alaska Airlines: Starlux Business Class Award Space Open
What happened: Alaska Mileage Plan released rare Starlux business class award space on U.S. routes (LAX, PHX, SFO, SEA) for 2027 at 50,000–75,000 points one-way.
Why it matters: This partnership has seen virtually no premium cabin availability since it launched in 2023. This dump is an outlier—expect it to close fast.
The TPD take: If Taiwan is on your list and you have the points, book immediately. Starlux business is legitimate premium product at a reasonable rate. Don't wait.

Wyndham-Caesars Promotion: 25% Off + Doubled Transfer Cap
What happened: Wyndham Rewards is offering up to 25% off Caesars properties through January 1, 2027, plus 2x points and 5,000 bonus points on stays 3+ nights. Book by September 11. Separately, the annual transfer cap to Caesars Rewards is temporarily doubled to 60,000 points (from 30,000) through September 11.
Why it matters: The discount is real, but "up to 25% off" doesn't guarantee best available rate. On pricier nights, paying with points might beat the percentage discount.
The TPD take: Run the numbers. The doubled transfer cap is the bigger story for frequent transferrers.

Steal of the Day: Alila Kothaifaru Maldives from 25K Hyatt Points
What happened: Alila Kothaifaru Maldives is bookable at 25,000 World of Hyatt points per night, while cash rates run $750+.
Why it matters: That's 3x value on the room alone. The Maldives involves additional costs (flights, transfers, meals), but the redemption itself is legitimately aspirational.
The TPD take: If you've been hoarding Hyatt points, search availability now. This is the kind of redemption that justifies the balance.

Card of the Day: Chase Amazon Prime Visa – 20% Back on Utilities
What happened: Some Chase Amazon Prime Visa cardholders received a targeted email offer: $15 back on $75+ spent on insurance, utilities, fitness, transit, or phone/cable (July 15–October 15).
Why it matters: That's 20% return on bills you're already paying. Unlike most accelerated spend offers, this one actually moves the needle on autopay transactions.
The TPD take: Check your email. If you got it, activate it. This is one of the rare card promos that justifies the friction of registering.
